Hi there! My name is Caitlyn, and I am a passionate gardener and the founder of GlowGreenery.
Currently, I spend most of my time researching, experimenting, and writing about indoor gardening, with a particular focus on creating sustainable and eco-friendly solutions. However, my journey to this point was quite thorny.
Growing my dreams
I’ve loved flowers since I was a little girl.
After finishing my studies in horticulture, I started working at a wholesale that sold plants and flowers. I was excited to start my career in the field that I loved and studied so hard for but soon realized that the job was not what I had hoped for.
Every day was the same, and I felt like I was not making a significant impact on the world. Most of my work days, I didn’t even take care of the flowers, just unpacked them from giant trays.
It was time to make a change. I decided to take a leap of faith and open my own flower shop.
It was a dream come true, and I poured all my energy and passion into making it a success. However, despite my best efforts, I struggled to compete with the established businesses in my rather small town.
But I didn’t let that stop me. After I had to close the doors of my business for good, I took what I learned and decided to create this; GlowGreenery.
With this website, I can share my knowledge and love for gardening with people all around the world and inspire them to create their little green oases at home.
